How to Submit a Photograph:
We strongly encourage any and all interested departments, faculty, staff, and students to submit photographs that promote the University of Arizona and its community. Please note that while we welcome photos with people, a Model Release form is required.

Once submitted and uploaded, your photos will be available for use in advertising, public relations and marketing. To be considered for submission, images must meet the following criteria and must fall into the following categories:

  1. Images must be sized at no less than 5"x7" and have a resolution of no less than 300 dpi.
  2. All images must be saved as .tiff documents (not .jpg or .psd)
  3. Model & Photographer release forms:
    • Model Release Form
If a person is recognizable within the photograph, a Model Release Form signed by that person is required. Submit signed hard copy to Amy Taczanowsky at the address shown below. UA External Relations uses model consents whenever an image will be used to promote the University, including but not limited to such materials as recruitment brochures, billboards and Web sites. It is advisable that photographs taken in a public place, if it is to be used for promotional purpose, have a model release. To use a photograph for promotional purposes without a model consent is to do so at risk.
    • Photographer Release Form
This form authorizes use of a photographer's photograph.
